Sequent Launches Online, Print Campaign

Beaverton, OR-based Sequent Computer Systems Inc. launched a global advertising campaign including online and print ads in national business and computer trade publications.
The roll-out includes a corporate Web page redesign and a new tagline to reinforce Sequent's data center leadership. The multi-million dollar ad campaign was created by EURO RSCG/DSW Partners.
The ads will run primarily in the U.S., U.K. and France. According to Craig Aramaki, DSW Partners account director, the campaign takes the theme and tagline: "Can Your Data Center Do This?" to high level IT decision-makers and corporate executives as they face major e-commerce infrastructure decisions.
The initial three ads are aimed at differentiating Sequent from its competition with a focus on technology advances that are unique to Sequent, backed by proven customer successes. Sequent's new Web site will reflect the new branding created by DSW Partners.
