Adauction.com Names Marketing Vice President

Adauction.com named Neil Cohen as vice president of sales and marketing, and Lori Nelson as senior director of business development.

The online ad auction company also promoted Chris Redlitz to executive vice president of operations from vice president of media sales.

Cohen brings 15 years of major brand marketing and sales experience for major corporations such as Sega, Hilton, McDonald's, Arby's and Sparkletts Water. He was most recently senior vice president of sales and Marketing for Zircon Corp., manufacturers of a line of high technology hand tools. Prior to that, he was vice president of marketing communications at Sega of America where he was responsible for advertising, media, public relations, customer service and the company's Internet strategy.

A business development and sales management veteran, Nelson was western sales manager for New York-based interactive publisher iVillage.

Redlitz, who co-founded Adauction.com and sits on its board of directors, helped the company rapidly build a high-profile roster of Web publishers and media buyers. In his new role, he will be focused on directing the company's day-to-day operations during its anticipated major growth period.

Adauction.com represents more than 70 Web publishers that supply ad inventory, including Netscape, Match.com, LookSmart, Red Herring Online, and NetNoir.
