ValueClick Network Supports Audio Banners

Cost-per-click ad network ValueClick said it now accepts audio banners across the entire network of more than 7,000 Web sites.

Advertisers can run audio banners in the standard size (468x60), up to a 10k file. The network supports audio formats from leading broadcasters of streaming media content such as Broadcast.com, RealNetworks and InterVU. ValueClick also said it plans to add other multimedia capabilities to its services soon.

"Our capacity to run audio banners benefits advertisers who are trying to drive traffic to their sites or build brand identity by using enhanced creative," said Brian Coryat, founder and CEO of ValueClick.

ValueClick also began offering advertisers the opportunity to choose from 14-user distinct categories to target their desired audience. The company also offers VisiTrack, an Internet ad campaign testing service, and AD/VANTAGE, a sales program that targets Web publishers with expiring inventory.
