Crosswalk.Com Launches Radio-TV Campaign

Chantilly, VA-based Crosswalk.com Inc. launched a national ad campaign on the Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Laura radio shows and bought title sponsorship for the upcoming "ETC! Entertainment That Counts" TV show premiering in June on the PAX network.

Bill Parker, president and CEO of the company formerly known as DIDAX Inc., said the company is moving to strengthen its position as a portal serving the Christian community. Spending was not disclosed.

Parker also said that the company recruited Bruce Koblish, former president of the Gospel Music Association and recently president of Reunion Records, as its Music Channel Manager.

"Now that our rebranding and company name changes are complete, we are positioned to accelerate crosswalk.com brand recognition. . . .Crosswalk.com has focused on building our content, services and technological infrastructure to improve the way we serve that community, and now we're expanding into the general market media to broaden our exposure among our targeted audience," said Parker.

"Our advertising is focusing on proprietary elements of crosswalk.com that help people apply their faith and values to everyday life. Since the radio spots began, we've noticed a surge in registrations for our free CrossingGuard Web filtering software, which will significantly improve a parent's ability to allow their children robust use of the Web," Parker said.

Crosswalk.com has signed exclusive online sponsorship agreements for some of the major Christian concert tours of the year, including recording artists Twila Paris, The Supertones, Avalon and Anointed. Included in these sponsorships will be promotional radio spots, onstage mentions, a 60-second video shown at each of the concerts, and crosswalk.com branding on tickets, programs and event banners. Crosswalk.com will also receive exclusive online rights for concert Webcasts, chats and tour merchandising sales.

Crosswalk.com has also been named the exclusive online sponsor for the Christian Artists seminar in Estes Park, CO from August 1-7.
