Real Cities Network, cars.com Join 24/7 Network

Ad rep company 24/7 Media Inc.in New York signed Knight Ridder's Real Cities and cars.com to its 24/7 Network.

Real Cities, a network of more than 40 Web sites, and cars.com together will generate approximately 45 million impressions per month for the 24/7 Network.

"Real Cities and cars.com are category leaders that present advertisers the opportunity to capture share of mind while users are actively conducting research," said Mark Burchill, senior vice president, business development and marketing at 24/7 Media. "These sites also provide high-demand ad inventory to the content channels on which we're focusing."

Real Cities comprises 29 city sites and 13 specialty sites.

Cars.com, owned and operated by newspaper consortium Classified Ventures, provides consumers with trusted auto information and an extensive inventory of new and used vehicles from more than 140 major daily U.S. newspapers.
