Financial terms of the deal, which gives Bluestreak new campaign tracking, reporting and customer support tools, were not disclosed. Both companies are privately held.
The pickup comes less than two months after Bluestreak's purchase of e2 Communications, a Plano, Texas, e-mail marketer.
It's another step in Bluestreak's evolution from "rich media company" to full-service online ad and marketing firm.
Founded in 1999, Takira helps launch referral, sweepstakes, promotional and customer intelligence campaigns for Fortune 500 firms including AT&T, Ebay and Microsoft.
Its technology platform, ConsumerSource, has also been upgraded to allow clients to reach customers and potential customers via cellular phones
The firms leaders --- CEO Johnson Chao, Suzanne Van Spyk, VP of Client Services and Andrew Thelen, COO -- will join Bluestreak. The trio hold Harvard MBAs.
