SmartAge said its member registration process and proprietary "Smart Targeting" technology enables the company to better target members' banner advertisements through its banner exchange program, resulting in more relevant and strategic ad placement. It also results in a click-through rates "significantly above the industry average," the company said.
The Dunwoody Gourmet Group is a social dining club that has been cooking and enjoying gourmet meals together for more than 20 years.
Six of the group's members co-authored a cookbook titled "Celebrate the Seasons!," created a Web site and signed on with SmartAge to help market and sell their book, which is in its second printing and is marketed primarily over the Internet.
"We needed to bring more people to our site which is why we registered with SmartClicks, " said Queenie Ross, chairman of the Dunwoody Gourmet Group. "With the help of SmartClicks, we are anticipating increased book sales and traffic to our www.dunwoodygourmet.com site."
SmartAge also offers both free and virtually free (under $10 a month) services designed to help small businesses market their Web sites online. Services include SiteRank (a search engine tracking service) and SiteWatch, a 24-hour Web site monitoring and alert service.
