Fry Multimedia Acquires Brandscape

Interactive agency Fry Multimedia Inc. said it has completed its purchase of New York City-based Brandscape, an interactive marketing consulting firm.

Brandscape and its dozen employees will be integrated into the Fry organization, and Fry, based in Ann Arbor, MI, will gain a full-service New York City office.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Fry and Brandscape have collaborated on a range of projects -- including Ragu's Clio award-winning "Mama's Cucina" www.eat.com Web site.

"Making Brandscape a fully integrated part of Fry Multimedia reinforces our ability to both translate leading retail brands to distinctive, compelling online store environments, and to create and deploy Internet technology that makes those stores major revenue drivers and customer relationship builders for our clients," said David Fry, founder and president of Fry Multimedia.

Tom Cunniff, Brandscape's founder, will serve as director of Fry's New York operations.

Fry Multimedia develops Internet, intranet and extranet Web sites for consumer and business-to-business marketers, specializing in e-commerce, branding and corporate identity sites.

Clients include 1-800 Flowers.com, Crate & Barrel, Eddie Bauer, Godiva Chocolatier and Staples.
