Wall Street Speaks, a financial showcase for emerging growth companies, said it is planning a multimillion dollar ad campaign to raise the awareness level of the site to a million hits per day.
Specifics on spending were not disclosed, but the company said the promotional budget will cover paid television advertising, a syndicated cable investment show, Internet search engine banner advertising, chat room participation and sponsorship, targeted e-mail and advertising in major financial newspapers and publications.
The site touts its ability to evaluate a company not simply on product, management and current performance but also on how they anticipate the product or service will perform based on a sound and properly financed marketing strategy, projected over several years.
Wall Street Speaks said it has an advisory board with more than two decades' experience in hundreds of business environments, evaluating products and services, and creating consumer brand awareness. This input is used to provide potential investors with sound investment insights on companies featured in the "Wall Street Winners" section.
Also available is a Financial Video Showcase that includes "streamed" videos of the companies highlighted. Their "Investment Forum" section provides an I- chat environment whereby high-profile guest speakers from the investment community can discuss stocks and current market conditions with up to 1,000 guests simultaneously.
