RealTime IT News, ValueVision Strike Marketing Deal

Online closeout retailer Wednesday struck a deal with ValueVision to co-produce programming for the channel, which is soon to be re-branded SnapTV.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The deal calls for the joint production of a television show that will air weekly in a late night slot -- from midnight to 3 a.m. will also be featured in the store front portion of ValueVision's Web site.

Value Vision is in the process of re-branding both the TV channel and its Web site,, as part of a strategic deal with NBCi, which owns the portal. The deal with is one of a series of cross-media promotion deals that the two companies have struck as of late.
