Careers site Vault.com on Wednesday
picked Mad Dogs &
Englishmen as its advertising agency, to help it put together a brand
awareness campaign to differentiate it from its competitors.
The company is hoping to reach professionals and people who work in human
Vault.com began its search with eight agencies, and narrowed it down to
three, including Bozell and
Hampel/Stefanides, before picking Mad Dogs & Englishmen.
Vault.com is seeking to distinguish itself in a crowded field of online
jobs sites. Three other players -- Monster.com, HotJobs.com, and kforce.com -- bought ads on the Super Bowl.
The company didn't disclose how much it would be spending in the
brand-building and consumer awareness effort, but noted that the money was
coming from a $9 million round of financing that it closed late last year.
