PCGame Site Signs With WebRep

San Francisco-based WebRep said it entered a new advertising sales partnership with PCGame, a directory service devoted to personal computer games.

The new partnership offers prospective advertisers an opportunity to reach an audience of tech-savvy, loyal game enthusiasts, WebRep said.

Launched in February of 1997, Sunnyvale, CA-based PCGame serves as the starting point for computer game enthusiasts. It provides information on commercial PC games and organizes content for easy navigation.

Using its "PC Game Finder" search engine, users can query information on over 2,300 recent titles including reviews, demos, cheats, tips, patches, and FAQs.

PCGame's founder Mike Pooler offered, "We thoroughly investigated the marketplace before partnering with WebRep. Our main priority was to find a firm that could provide professional representation as well as superior service, branding, and personal attention."

Launched in December 1995, WebRep is an advertising sales firm that applies the traditional representation-firm model to the Web. Clients include Business Wire, Entrepreneur Magazine Online, Kiplinger OnLine, ONSALE, NationalGeographic.com and Variety.
