Trigent and Net Perceptions Team for Personalized Web Sites
Web content personalization firm Net Perceptions and Web developer Trigent inked a deal through which they will integrate each other's offerings.
Southborough, Mass.-based Trigent offers application development, integration and management to large enterprises and e-commerce ventures. Net Perceptions, on the other hand, provides systems that allow Web sites to deliver specific or personalized content based on visitor profiles.
The completed software package will allow Trigent's clients, which include Texas Instruments, Cahners, and American Express, to set up sites that deliver targeted messages and content, based on user profiles.
"The partnership with Net Perceptions is an example of how we ally with the best vendors in the market to extend our reach to a full-service, complete end-to-end solution," said Bharat Khatau, Trigent co-founder and chairman.

manager Troy Wright. "That's what makes this partnership a good one."
iBoost.com Acquires LinkBuddies.com Ad Exchange
Los Angeles-based B2B content site iBoost.com Thursday said it planned to acquire ad exchange network LinkBuddies.com.
LinkBuddies' flagship service -- the Free Banner Exchange -- allows Web site owners to target ads for their sites across its network of 30,000 affiliated properties.
The iBoost network said it has about 1.6 million visitors monthly and, said the company, offers a "one-stop destination" for how-to information on building and maintaining e-businesses.
Joining what has become a movement by content plays to retool as
e-business services, iBoost said the acquisition enhances its position as a
"total solution provider" for Webmasters and e-business owners seeking
advertising, content, design, and marketing tools.
Clientize Launches Suite of Online Marketing Products
Boca Raton, Fla.-based online database marketing tech firm Clientize.com Thursday rolled out three products designed to provide marketers with e-CRM tools.
The tools, which include surveys, registration and e-mail products, are intended to be integrated with databases that Clientize maintains on behalf of clients.
Clientize Surveys provide marketers with a tool to develop and launch customer satisfaction surveys, product evaluations, site feedback forms and other custom online surveys. The company's Clientize Profiles product includes registration forms, free product sample offers and personal interest profiles that result in opt-in registration. Clientize Mail provides e-mail messaging campaigns and volume e-mail delivery.
