Formerly called TheDJ.com, Spinner.com offers its listeners more than 100 music channels.
The re-christened music site joined with Warner Bros. Records Inc.; online commerce pioneer Amazon.com; destination site Macromedia ShockRave; content creators LAUNCH Media and UBL-Ultimate Band List; and the high-speed cable Internet service provider @Home Network, the company said.
Advertising and sponsorship opportunities include audio-enhanced media ads and select advertising positions, which are integrated within the streaming music programming.
Spinner.com chose Amazon.com to be its exclusive music fulfillment source, and will incorporate a prominent link to "Buy This CD at Amazon.com" throughout the user interface. Financial details of the various arrangements were not disclosed.
