The deal will provide The Monster Board with what it called "a powerful new distribution model reaching millions of job candidates via cable television."
CableSoft executed the first launch of its product to MediaOne's 80,000 broadband subscribers in Jacksonville, FL this month. The Monster Board job listing service will be made available to this growing audience as part of CableSoft's suite of 12 local information channels. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"CableSoft's technology provides a pipeline for Internet content providers to access a mass audience--cable television viewers. Our unique technology is the only market-proven service for transforming Internet content into an easy- to-use cable service," said Sonia Khademi, president and CEO of CableSoft. "The Monster Board has clearly established itself as the leading Internet brand for delivering the ideal job candidates to companies and we are pleased to enable them to broaden their reach beyond the Internet universe."
The Monster Board job listings will be listed on the Classifinder channel of CableSoft's service.
