Abridean Lands Divine Deal

In May, Abridean Inc. president and CEO Sean Sears said the application infrastructure provider market was on the cusp of rapid growth. The Halifax, Nova Scotia-based company backed up that assertion when it announced that AT&T Canada would use AbrideanProvisor (see Abridean Gets the Call).

Today, the company announced another significant customer win, reporting that Chicago-based enterprise services provider Divine will use AbrideanProvisor, an XML-based application provisioning and management platform, for its Hosted Microsoft Exchange 2000 service.

"This deal was highly competitive," said Sears of the sales process with Divine's Managed Services division. AbrideanProvisor is designed to improve efficiency for service providers by automating e-mail services and simplifying the provisioning and management of hosted applications.

"AbrideanProvisor provides important functionality for our Managed Microsoft Exchange 2000 customers. We are able to automate the provisioning of mailboxes, which otherwise can be an expensive and time-consuming process, and provide our customers with the tools to easily administer their e-mail system remotely," said Skip Yost, product manager for Managed Exchange 2000.

Abridean is listed by ASPnews as a Top 30 Enabler.
