Managed network security provider myCIO.com yesterday formed a partnership agreement with global electronic file delivery network click2send.com, the latest in a slew of recent partnership announcements.
By partnering with click2send.com , myCIO.com further completes its list of alliances currently in place to reach a broad Internet audience with a common goal of securing the Internet. myCIO.com has alliances with ISPs Concentric Network Corporation and Exodus Communications, Inc. , mail outsourcers EdgeMail Technologies and SendMail, Inc. and other affiliates including Internet security solutions provider SonicWALL Inc.
"Our list of partner agreements is evidence that many e-businesses recognize the need for managed security application services," Zach Nelson, president and chief executive officer, myCIO.com, said.
myCIO Corps is the company's partner initiative designed to make the company's infrastructure security services more widely available to a variety of e-businesses. It consists of three programs: Admiral, Captain and Affiliate.
Captain Program partners receive sales volume-based commissions on myCIO.com service sales, access to myCIO.com sales collateral and account management support. In addition to a Web page with company logo and link to their home page, Captain Partners are eligible to participate in select myCIO.com public relations activities.
The company claims its Affiliate Program is the first B2B affiliate program in the infrastructure ASP market, and it enables VARs, consultants, systems integrators and general Web affiliates to establish a Web storefront for sales of myCIO.com services. Affiliates can set up direct links to the myCIO.com Web site and will receive a 10 percent referral fee for all sales.
