Critical Path Passes 100 Million Mark

B2B Internet messaging and collaboration solutions provider Critical Path, Inc. announced today that its technology powers more than 100 million mailboxes and wireless devices worldwide.

Hitting this landmark, Critical Path, Inc. (CPTH) reinforces its goal of effectively meeting the growing messaging needs of a diverse customer base.

Through an "Allsourcing" strategy, Critical Path can meet the growing messaging demands of a diverse customer base by offering businesses the ability to outsource, midsource or insource all or part of their messaging applications.

Outsourcing lets customers have their messaging apps hosted by Critical Path at one of its mail center locations throughout the U.S., Europe and soon in Asia. Midsourcing offers customers the option to selectively decide which Critical Path value-added messaging applications to outsource and which to keep in-house. Critical path also provides a software solution enabling customers to run their messaging applications in-house.

In other news, Critical Path was selected Monday by Intranets.com to provide it with advanced Web-based e-mail services. The multi-year agreement with Critical Path will also allow Intranets.com to offer superior Internet messaging to business users worldwide.

Intranets.com's user base consists of nearly 200,000 businesses and organizations, with anticipated growth as the company moves into the Asian and European markets.
