Relera Opens Richmond IDC

Relera, an outsourcer of managed hosting and solutions providers, is opening an Internet data center (IDC) in Richmond, Va. Designed, built and operated by the Denver-based Relera, the IDC will provide "Silicon Valley-caliber" technology solutions to companies looking to expand and accelerate their businesses.

Relera's solutions provide a combination of on-demand storage, intelligent load balancing, advanced caching, state of the art security, 24/7 support and industry leading infrastructure.

"Richmond businesses now have an outsourced Internet solution in their own back yard which was previously unavailable," said Clyde Wilson, a 27-year IT industry veteran and director of Relera's Richmond IDC. "RELERA offers a combination of best-in-class products and services, guaranteed reliability and 24/7 customer support, allowing businesses to focus on what they do best instead of worrying about the complexity of maintaining an in-house infrastructure."

With significant investments in its infrastructure, Relera is providing facilities, including fully redundant power, cooling, physical security and on-site service to companies in technologically underserved cities across the United States.

Founded in January 2000 and backed by more than $300 million in equity financing, Relera provides a geographically diverse, single-source, solution to meet customers' Web and application hosting needs. The company has a Web site at http://www.relera.com.
