Xevo Goes Dutch

Xevo, a Marlborough, Mass-based service management provider, today announced that CyberRoute, a Dutch ASP will use XevoWorks to automate its applications subscriber management.

XevoWorks is an XML-based service management solution that is designed to provide automatic application provisioning, metering and packaging that helps service providers accelerate revenue streams, lower costs and reduce staffing requirements when hosting applications.

The solution will initially enable CyberRoute to host several Microsoft applications including MS Office XP, Exchange 2000, IIS and SharePoint.

"CyberRoute needed a bullet-proof service management solution that would allow us to both adhere to strict customer care requirements as well as provide the necessary support to allow us to continue to grow our hosted application portfolio," said Dr. Bahman Zolfagharpour, chairman and CEO of CyberRoute. "Xevo's proven solution enables us to rapidly deploy a scalable Microsoft Exchange service, which is critical to meeting our aggressive growth plans."

In addition to using Xevo's service to manage applications, CyberRoute plans to take advantage of the following XevoWorks solutions:

Customer Care: Using XevoWork's Delegated Administrator, CyberRoute say it will extend to its customers and resellers the capability to manage their own account information. This is designed to reduce the time required to support their user base while increasing customer satisfaction through more timely control.

Out-of-the-Box Application Support: Xevo's out-of-the-box solution will allow CyberRoute to quickly launch its MS Office XP and Exchange offerings while also providing them with the capability to add new applications.

Flexible Pricing: Using Xevo's Smart Metering and Reporting capabilities, CyberRoute seeks to meet the requirements of its own business plan, which includes progressive subscriber-based pricing and upfront software license fees. In addition, Xevo's Smart Metering capability will enable CyberRoute to incorporate a variety of billing options for its customers.

"CyberRoute's clear business plan combined with Xevo's proven service management software will enable the company to quickly bring its solutions to market and scale to meet increased future demand," said Hal Chapel, chairman and CEO of Xevo Corporation.

According to a statement released by Xevo, CyberRoute will be working directly with Xevo's delivery team from its Sophia Antipolis, France office, which supports accounts throughout the EMEA regions.

Xevo is listed by ASPnews as a Top 20 Application Infrastrucutre Provider.
