Tarantella Inks German ASP

Tarantella, Inc., , a Santa Cruz, Calif.-based supplier of Internet infrastructure software, has announced that its Tarantella Enterprise 3 software has been chosen by MYBAU AG, a German business-to-business construction portal, to offer ASP services to its customers.

Targeted at German architects, building engineers and construction firms, MYBAU AG is a communication and e-business platform, and currently 1,000 of MYBAU AG clients are using Tarantella software to access e-procurement and product catalogue applications, as well as design and construction software products through the Internet.

Tarantella's Enterprise 3 software is designed to help Application Service Providers (ASPs) get to market faster, deliver more applications and more efficiently manage systems and subscribers.

MYBAU says that using Tarantella's software, it was able to draw on its knowledge of the design and building industry to offer services that are key to the business needs of architects and construction firms.
