Professional services organizations can now benefit from one-stop shopping when they're in the market for professional services automation (PSA) and CRM suites, now that vertical service provider (VSP) Portera's PSA suite and Salesforce.com's CRM suite are available as an integrated, subscription-based service.

"We believe the future for enterprise software is online delivery," said John Dillon, president and CEO of Salesforce.com. "Through this partnership with Portera, professional services companies will have a powerful, scalable and reliable online CRM service to complement their online professional services automation within days without the risk and hassle of traditional enterprise software."

Through this partnership, the two companies can provide consulting and professional services customers with an easily implemented solution to meet all front-office needs in an online service, avoiding the risk and lengthy implementation times typically associated with enterprise software.

Salesforce.com was created to help companies improve productivity, maximize efficiency and enhance long-term relationships with their customers. Portera's ServicePort suite of PSA applications helps professional services organizations manage their finances, resources, projects and relationships – leaving more time to focus on revenue-generating activities.
