Interland, Inc., the Atlanta-based provider of Web hosting services to small and medium businesses, today announced it has acquired Kansas City, Mo.-based Web hosting company CommuniTech.Net.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the news marks the third acquisition completed by Interland in the last four months, including the purchase of Interliant and AT&T small business Web hosting accounts.

"Interland and CommuniTech.Net are a perfect fit," says Joel J. Kocher, Interland chairman and chief executive officer.

"CommuniTech.Net has built an efficient, profitable hosting business, serving nearly 20,000 small business customers with a strong product offering and outstanding customer service," he explains.

Interland is acquiring all the assets and employees of CommuniTech.Net and Gabriel Murphy, the firm's founder and president, is expected to join the Interland management team says Kocher.

Murphy says: "By joining forces with the leading small and medium enterprise (SME) hosting company, we add the strengths of CommuniTech.Net to Interland."

Managing more than 300,000 paid hosted Web sites, Interland offers a portfolio of standardized Web hosting, e-commerce, and application hosting services, from basic Web sites to managed dedicated hosting solutions for the SME market.
