Scheduled to go live on February 26, Springboard.ca is dedicated to offering integrated resources designed and produced by Canadian women for Canadian women. The site will target women aged 25 to 49 who are mothers with children at home, single women and women who are newly married.
"According to our research, 68 percent of Canadian women online are turning to Web sites for information and interactive tools that will help them streamline their daily juggling acts," says Pam Gilbert, general manager of Springboard.ca. "Springboard.ca is designed to be one of the most interactive and pragmatic tools targeting women on the Internet, providing users with the expert advice, virtual management resources and practical information they need."
Whether baby-toting, jet-setting or career-juggling, today's women are faced with countless obstacles when it comes to managing their hectic lives. It's for precisely this reason that Springboard.ca will launch with specified channels. The Wellness channel will enable women to assess their fitness levels and develop a workout plan with an exercise schedule that matches their interests, time and strength. And the Money channel will encourage Canadian women to become smarter investors, savers and consumers. The site will also be adding channels including Living Space, Food and Parenting in subsequent months.
