YesAsia.com, an online Asian entertainment store with its head quarters in San Francisco, US, has formed an alliance with Kingstone, one of the largest bookstore chains in Taiwan with more than 100 physical stores nationwide, to enable Chinese communities to obtain information on Chinese books from its portal, kingstone.yesasia.com.
"Since January 2002, YesAsia.com has been working with bookstores and publishers in Hong Kong to develop its Book Outlet. Partners can easily upload products to YesAsia.com, effectively reaching the company's 150,000 customers, and sell their books via this new channel," said Albert Wong, YesAsia.com's IT and Operation director.
Kingstone will be YesAsia.com's first book alliance partner in Taiwan.
According to the project manager of Digital Kingstone Co., Ltd., Cindy Liu, there is a healthy demand for Chinese books in western countries. She believes that YesAsia's established logistics system covering North America and Europe, will help Kingstone capture a significant market share in this relatively untapped market rapidly.
With the portal in place, customers will be able to find the latest releases, bestseller information, and book reviews easily. They will also receive their book orders in the shortest possible time.
