RealTime IT News Adds Calendar, Fax through Acquisitions

Internet messager, Inc. went on a shopping spree Monday, acquiring online calendar company eOrganizer and taking a 19 percent stake in Internet fax specialist 3Cube, Inc. said the purchases were in line with the company's strategy to offer e-mail messaging services to both the consumer and corporate market.

Under terms of the deal with 3Cube, will acquire an ownership stake in 3Cube and a technology license. expects to offer Web- and e-mail-based fax options later this year.

Through the purchase of eOrganizer, will also add calendaring services to its roster. The free service is expected to launch in the third quarter.
