Standard & Poor's ComStock, a real-time market data provider, today announced it will provide financial information for Microsoft's Investor Web site.

The agreement calls for ComStock to furnish Investor with international data from equity exchanges including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), NASDAQ, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the London Stock Exchange, and others.

ComStock will also provide data concerning the global futures and commodities exchanges, various options exchanges, global foreign exchange data, and worldwide indices.

Standard & Poor's ComStock financial data is featured on more than 150 online financial information providers, including AOL, Prodigy, and CNNfn.

"The Internet has evolved to allow individual investors to enter the financial markets on a more level playing field with professional investors," said Daniel J. Connell, president of Standard & Poor's ComStock. "Now, individual investors using Microsoft Investor can access the same reliable and accurate data that Standard & Poor's ComStock has been providing to the institutional and professional investment community for more than 35 years."
