Former White House Fellow Bruce McNamer is joining VarsityBooks.com as vice president of business development.

In his new position, McNamer will oversee the company's business development efforts, focusing on continuing to sell VarsityBooks.com's marketing services to businesses interested in reaching the college demographic.

Prior to joining VarsityBooks.com, McNamer was a White House Fellow for the National Economic Council, where he specialized in policy development in international economics. Before that, he was an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, advising clients in the financial services sector on overall business strategy and organizational effectiveness. Before leaving the business world to become a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay in 1990-1992, McNamer was a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley and Co. where he focused on analysis and execution of IPOs for small technology companies.
