Jeffrey Whalen is taking the vice president, marketing, post at ZonaFinanciera.com, the personal finance marketplace for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking consumers and businesses.

Whalen, who will join the Fairfax, Va.-based company's office in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., will oversee ZonaFinanciera.com's marketing, advertising, public relations and advertising sales initiatives.

Prior to accepting his new post, Whalen held a number of positions at Walt Disney, including vice president, marketing, of Television International and vice president, licensing and marketing of consumer products, Latin American region.

Prior to that he held several positions at Eastman Kodak Co., including group general manager, director, sales and marketing, Mexico City, general manager, Uruguay and manager, business strategy, Rochester, N.Y. He also held several manager, consulting positions with Andersen Consulting.
