GuideComm Adds to Advisory Board

Sterling Commerce VP moves over to Herndon firm

GuideComm Systems is bringing in G. Clark Woodford to serve on its advisory board. Woodford is joining the consulting and systems integration firm from Sterling Commerce, Inc., where he is vice president of business development.

During his seven-year tenure at Sterling, Woodford initiated the company's commerce services major account sales program to market eCommerce network services to the Fortune 500 market. In that position, he also managed the acquisition of nine companies across the globe.

Before joining Sterling, Woodford was executive vice president of network services for CompuServe, Inc., and prior to that position, he was vice president of sales for CheckFree Corp., the automated payment transactions and home banking firm.
