Ashok Trivedi, president and co-chairman of iGATE Capital Corp. (Nasdaq: IGTE), is joining the VCampus Corp. (Nasdaq: VCMP) board of directors. Prior to the formation of iGATE, Trivedi served as president and co-chairman of Mastech Corp., a global provider of eServices.

In January of this year, Mastech made a strategic investment in Vcampus through its eVentures business unit.

Along with joining the McLean, Va.-based company's board, Trivedi said iGATE Capital and VCampus also are forming a strategic partnership through which iGATE's operating companies will promote VCampus as a platform for hosting corporate virtual campuses to its 1000 global customers.

Vcampus, located at http://www.vcampus.com, is an application service provider for the e-Learning market. VCampus hosts virtual campuses for corporations, academic institutions, and government agencies to provide employees, students, and customers with global distance learning. Using its Vcampus 2.5 distributed learning platform, the company's remotely hosted components allow for the enrollment, registration, teaching, tracking, testing, grading, and certification of distance learners.

The company, formerly UOL Publishing, Inc., distributes a courseware library of more than 1,100 web-based courses and has delivered more than 375,000 courses to over 250,000 adult learners.
