Sequoia Software, a provider of XML-pure portal software, is appointing William Brennan as executive vice president, corporate development. Brennan will oversee Sequoia's global sales, marketing, and business development efforts.
Before joining Sequoia, Brennan was a senior technology and industrial services analyst at Pacific Growth Equities in San Francisco, where he was named to the Wall Street Journal's "Best On The Street" analyst team in 2000.
He was also the founder of Griffin Ventures LLC, a merchant bank specializing in financial advisory/strategic consulting services to public and private technology companies.
Prior to Pacific Growth and Griffin, Brennan was a manager in the Financial Advisory Services Consulting Practice at Coopers & Lybrand in Philadelphia, where he specialized in the overall business needs of companies ranging in size from Fortune 500 to small, closely held entities.
Brennan also held management positions with Law Companies Group, an Atlanta, Ga. based Architectural & Engineering firm, where he was the director of Eastern operations, and General Electric Aerospace HQ in Valley Forge, Pa. Brennan began his career as missile combat crew commander in the United States Air Force.
