Jupiter Research Debuts 'Microsoft Monitor'

With the eyes of the technology industry firmly fixed on every move made in Redmond, Wash., Jupitermedia's Jupiter Research unit announced plans to launch a new service to cover Microsoft exclusively.

The new Microsoft Monitor, due to launch in July, promises a research service to help vendors prepare for market opportunities created by new initiatives from Microsoft.

The service will feature consumer and executive IT surveys, online analysis, case studies and usage models, with an exclusive emphasis on the software giant's technologies and strategies. "Clients of the service will discover which areas of Microsoft are most likely to succeed in capturing the marketplace, how these technologies will be deployed and how to effectively deploy them, complement them or compete with them," Jupiter Research said in a statement.

"The very name Microsoft evokes an emotional response from people. Whether you love them, hate them, admire them or stand in awe of them - in today's world of technology you can do anything but ignore them," said Jupiter Research analyst Michael Gartenberg, who is heading up the Microsoft Monitor service. "This service will help both vendors and end-users to better understand Microsoft and its initiatives," Gartenberg added.
