HyperBanner Signs Three New Advertisers

Global banner exchange HyperBanner signed ad deals with the Web portals FirstEntertainment.com, Fifty-Plus.net and the Web site monitoring service @watch. Spending was not disclosed.

The company said it will help FirstEntertainment.com, which provides streaming comedy and music, sports information, online shopping and original content programming, expand to more than 30 countries.

"This current media buy will target visitors for our Entertainment, Sports and e-commerce areas," said Robert Fuchs, director of sales and marketing for First 2 Market Development, the Web development team for FirstEntertainment.com.

Canada's Fifty-Plus.net, a portal for Canadians over age 50, chose to purchase advertising space specific to its audience, rather than participating in the banner exchange. The campaign is focused domestically.

Another Canadian-based company, @watch became a HyperBanner member and will focus its advertising efforts on Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, as well as specifically targeting sites visited by Webmasters.

@watch provides Web site maintenance and monitoring so companies can be alerted of any problems with their site 24 hours a day.
