Organic Opens Doors in Toronto

Internet professional services firm Organic this week opened a new office in Toronto.

The Toronto facility is the fifth new office opened by Organic ognc">(OGNC) since January of last year, including offices in London, Singapore, and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Taking charge in Toronto is Troy Young, vice president/managing director, who joins Organic from Vickers & Benson Direct, Interactive (VBDI) where he was co-founder and managing director.

While at VBDI, a Canadian-based interactive marketing company, he managed online marketing initiatives for clients including the Bank of Montreal and Sprint Canada.

"Canada is one of the most mature consumer Internet markets in the world, which means there are great prospects for Organic's business here," said Young. "We look forward to announcing some of the clients we are working with as they get closer to launching projects."

Joining Young as senior director of operations is L. Cameron Bedford, who had worked with Young at VBDI in the role of vice president, client services director, interactive.

While at VBDI, Bedford managed a large portfolio of clients, helping them build capabilities in e-commerce, site development, and online marketing.

The company's service offerings include consulting, Web site design, software engineering, advertising, public relations, customer service, and fulfillment consulting. Organic has performed work for over 250 clients, both offline as well as emerging Internet companies.
