Software development firm Creative Science Systems Monday launched an initiative it says automates the conversion of XML Schema into Java classes.
The San Jose, Calif.-based firm, which makes platform independent system level software, including integration middleware, development tools, and stand-alone servers, released its Schema2Java Compiler v.1.5.
Tailored for Web Services developers, the new product is the latest addition to the company's NetZyme Suite.
Based on Creative Science Systems' patented NetZyme software infrastructure technology, Schema2Java Compiler generates a wide variety of XML Schemas into Java classes. Schema2Java Compiler is the first publicly available product supporting the implementation guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) XML Schema Recommendation.
The company says the compiler is one of those essential XML programming tools that increases productivity of Web services development by as much as 80 percent.
"We've made Schema2Java Compiler available a month after the W3C recommendation, bringing Java developers a desperately needed XML processing tool months ahead of the most optimistic market expectations," said Creative Science president and COO Jacob Dreyband. "Schema2Java Compiler v.1.5 makes XML document processing a slam-dunk by automating many of the development tasks."
Until November 22nd, Schema2Java Compiler v.1.5 is available free of charge to the first 999 developers who download it. The product will soon be available in major software retail stores at the suggested retail price of $119.00.
