Ten couples have already been married after finding each other on the Mountain View-based social site, and 25 other wedding plans are in the works.
SocialNet.com's membership base has increased to more than 900,000 since its launch in February of last year, and CEO Elizabeth Kalodner says the success rate for members has been high.
"We are thrilled with the overwhelming response to the site," says Kalodner, "and the fact that people are finding lifetime partners in a safe and comfortable way through [our service] makes it that much more exciting."
The couples who have announced their plans to marry are from across the U.S. and of diverse ages and backgrounds. Details of the success stories can be found at the company's Web site.
