Anders Hejlsberg, a software engineer at Microsoft recently was recognized by the Redmond-based company as a "Distinguished Engineer".

Hejlsberg, who is currently working on the developer tools for the Microsoft .NET platform, was one of 16 other Microsoft Software Engineers that were rewarded with the title.
