Novasys Develops Web-Based Training Environment

Novasys Inc. is shipping its TrainingOffice 3.1, a Web-based learning application that can effectively deliver just-in-time and just-enough training.

"TrainingOffice enables learners to access an organization's accumulated knowledge and training modules from anywhere in the world via the Internet and intranet," said Mario Robert, Novasys president. "It is an efficient and accessible way to enable organizations to provide employees with quality, cost-effective training."

The application features a set of user-friendly functions that allowing independent, on-demand learning. The training modules are accessed through the World Wide Web, directly into an organization's own server, thereby dramatically reducing operating costs and improving overall productivity.

The TrainingOffice modules include: Learning, Design, Tutoring, and Management.

System requirements for TrainingOffice involve only Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT for the user workstations and Windows NT for the server. The logistics of creating training programs are also greatly simplified because there is a single entry point for all corporate courseware.

According to Novasys, content in most formats can be easily integrated into TrainingOffice and deployed into an organization's intranet.

Further information is available on the TrainingOffice Web site.
