Seattle's Photozone.com, a provider of online event photography, today announced their official launch. The company, who has been operating unofficially for 18 months, has the backing of a number of local investors such as Starbucks' Chairman Howard Schultz, former Microsoft executive Scott Oki and musician Kenny G.
Photozone.com takes digital photos at events and posts them to a password-protected site where guests can view and purchase the photos.
Asked about the delay in the official launch, Photozone.com CEO Natalie Angelillo said: "It was critical that we officially launch the service only after we were certain we had the technology and photographers in place to execute such an innovative business."
Photozone.com, headquartered in Seattle, offers photography services in every major city in the U.S., with regional operators in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York.
