Vacation Brief

Web 3000 is sending their entire staff on a seven day Caribbean cruise for meeting revenue goals. To earn the trip the company had to exceed sales goals of $1 million, which were attained in March.

In order to ensure that employees are vacationing and not feeling pressure to work, the company has set up four different weeks for employees to choose from. This will allow normal operations to continue at Web3000's offices in Redmond.

Additionally, Web3000 is allowing each employee to take a guest. According to the company's spokesperson, that guest will be given the job of making sure that employees are not working when they should be doing things like playing shuffle board.

Web 3000, a software ad network developer, reports a 92% employee retention rate and has increased its employee base from 16 to nearly 100 in the past year.
