BroadVision, CyberSource Integrate Products

BroadVision and CyberSource said they have integrated CyberSource's e-commerce services into BroadVision's One-To-One Commerce application system.

The partnership has already enabled EarthWeb to use the joint solution to sell software online through its Developer.com and Developer.direct services, the companies said.

BroadVision will integrate CyberSource's e-commerce services as part of the BroadVision One-To-One application system to give customers the option of outsourcing key commerce services.

Available now, the jointly developed product will provide online merchants the ability to utilize CyberSource's global rights registry. In turn, merchants gain instant reseller access to top software publishers such as IBM, Microsoft, Lotus, Symantec, Starfish and Qualcomm. In addition, customers will have access to CyberSource's payment processing, fraud screening, and export control capabilities.

"The incorporation of CyberSource's innovative fraud detection technology with our One-To-One Commerce WebApp offers our customers highly secure electronic delivery options with leading online commerce transaction and relationship marketing functionality," said Perry Thorndyke, vice president of marketing at BroadVision.

In related news, BroadVision also said it received a patent for its Internet business One-To-One Application System.

One-To-One is an enterprise-class software application system for rapid development and real-time operation of one-to-one relationship management applications for the extended enterprise. It supports large user and content databases, high transaction volumes, intelligent agent matching, and integration with existing business systems.
