Z Company Launches Calendar/Appointment System

Z Company launched Calendarz.com, a free personal calendar and appointment system that can be used by anyone with access to the Internet. Via a browser, users can track their meetings, appointments and to-do lists at the vendor's site.

"With Calendarz, my appointment book is as close as the nearest computer," said Mark Wineman, who beta-tested the product. "I don't have to buy or install software or juggle multiple calendars trying to keep each current. My assistant loves it because she can also access my up to date calendar."

The firm said users of Calendarz.com have access to their current calendar from their home or office--and from Internet cafes, airport kiosks or their portable computers while on the road. The calendar may be customized according to each user's taste, with different layouts for day, week, month, and year, much like the choice which is available in printed diaries. With Calendarz.com, however, the company stated the user can link entries to a specific URL, adding a new dimension to maintaining a calendar.

Calendarz is a joint venture between Z Company and Cameron Consulting (which changed its name this week to Matador Design), a developer of Web-based scheduling tools.
