Binary Tree Releases eTeam 2.0

Binary Tree Software released eTeam 2.0, a new version of its Lotus Domino based intranet/extranet framework.

Using eTeam, people working for the same or different companies can collaborate in discussions, share files and information, and manage, track, and participate in projects.

"The response to eTeam has been phenomenal and our customers are really excited about version 2.0," said Henry Bestritsky, executive VP of Binary Tree. "The value proposition behind eTeam is to dramatically lower the cost and time normally spent on intranet/extranet development while maximizing the use of existing applications."

The new features of eTeam include: a new and more intuitive user interface; security at the application level; plug-n-play architecture with seamless integration of views and forms; e-maill integration; statistics and logging facilities; scalability from small businesses to large enterprises; and browser-based administration.

Among the current users of eTeam, says the vendor, are Arthur D. Little, Boston University, Western Union, and Merrill Lynch.

eTeam 2.0 runs on all Domino supported platforms, including Windows NT and Sun Solaris, and can be acquired direct from Binary Tree or through the vendor's business partners around the world.
