Spokane-based keyboard manufacturer Key Tronic Corporation signed earlier this week a distribution agreement with California-based NetZero, Inc - a provider of advertising and commerce-supported internet access.

According to the agreement, Key Tronic will include a NetZero CD featuring free dial-up internet access in its following keyboards: Internet Access PS/2, Lifetime Classic II , Lifetime Designer and the Pro Voyager.

According to NetZero Chief Marketing Officer Brian Woods, by partnering with Key Tronic, NetZero is able to increase its presence in the computer peripheral market where Key Tronic is an industry leader.

"For roughly the price of one month of traditional, paid Internet access, these customers will receive their high-quality keyboard and will have the opportunity to gain reliable, free access to the Internet," says Woods.

In addition to its headquarters in Washington State, Key Tronic has facilities also in Mexico, Ireland, Eastern Europe and China.
