Following a slough of personnel and management changes over the past few months, Bellevue-based Infospace seems to be back to work in full swing focusing on their primary business of broadband and wireless.
The company announced this morning, that it has inked a deal with CNNSI.com, AOL Time Warner's sports Web site, the home of Sports Illustrated on the Web and the sports site for CNN.com and CNN/Sports Illustrated, the sports news network.
Under the agreement, multimedia video news from CNN/Sports Illustrated, as well as other CNN/Sports Illustrated services, including original sports analysis and commentary, will be integrated with InfoSpace's broadband platform and syndicated through broadband network providers licensing the InfoSpace platform.
"We see sports as one of the most natural environments for our broadband services and applications," said Michael Riccio, InfoSpace executive vice president, broadband. "Teaming up with CNNSI.com is an important strategic move as their world class sports coverage enhances the services that we can offer network operators deploying our broadband platform."
