PacNet Delivers New Broadband Services

HONG KONG -- Singapore-based ISP Pacific Internet Limited , today announced the introduction of two new high speed Internet access plans for the corporate market in Singapore -- Network Broadband and Biz Broadband Ultimate.

Network Broadband is based on Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) technology that enables businesses to upload and download information at a symmetric speed of up to 512 kbps, said company representatives. Biz Broadband Ultimate, based on Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) technology, caters to business executives restricted to a single log-on connection.

PacNet hopes that the SDSL and ADSL services, priced at S$688 (US$380) and S$388 (US$214) per month respectively, will be attractive to businesses that want high speed access but find the cost of dedicated leased lines too high.

PacNet has ISP Businesses in Singapore, Hong Kong, The Philippines, Australia, India and Thailand.
