New York Times Digital (NYTD), the gray lady's Internet division, has struck a deal to deliver daily full-text content on the Web through Thomson-owned NewsEdge. Financial terms of the deal were not released.

The newspaper said NewsEdge, which shuffles digital content through cyberspace, would integrate daily content into two news products - NewsEdge Live and NewsEdge Insight. The company, which supplies news feeds from some 2,000 sources to more than 1,400 customers, would also have access to the New York Times archives for 90 days.

Content on the New York Times site is free but registration is required. Users, however, must pay to access the newspaper's archives.

For NYTD, which runs the NYTimes.com and Boston.com sites, the deal puts its branded content before millions of new eyeballs. At a time when the online advertising market continues to contract, the deal is also seen as an additional source of revenue for NYTD.
