Bluestone Software Launches Code Blue

Bluestone Software Thursday launched Code Blue, a developer program that gives Java, Web, and XML application developers access to Bluestone's Application Server frameworks for building Internet commerce and data integration applications.

Developer registration for Code Blue is free. By eliminating up-front licensing fees, developers working with limited initial budgets can use Sapphire/Web and Bluestone XML Suite to build applications for e-commerce and data integration. As Code Blue developers build and deploy their Bluestone-powered solutions, Bluestone revenue will be generated against distributed sales.

The Code Blue program encompasses all Bluestone products, including Sapphire/Web, a platform-independent, 100% Pure Java Application Server framework, and Bluestone XML Suite, a dynamic XML Application Server and toolkit that provides a platform for building, distributing, and deploying XML applications. These applications can utilize Bluestone's Customer-Facing Fault Tolerance, Hot Versioning, and Internet Quality of Service features.

Application developers who register for Code Blue receive an information packet on Sapphire/Web, Bluestone XML Suite, or both. In addition, registered developers can participate in a Code Blue Webinar -- a live, interactive Web-based seminar covering Bluestone software and providing a forum to ask questions and exchange ideas.
