Like to Surf on Saturday? Report Says You're Not Alone
The latest statistics from WebSideStory's StatMarket.com site released this week indicate Saturday is the most popular day for surfing the Web.
On the other end of the scale, Wednesday has become the low point in the week for Internet traffic. StatMarket.com publishes data gathered from over 30 million unique daily visitors to more than 100,000 Web sites using WebSideStory's HitBox analysis technology.
From Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, 2000, Saturday accounted for 15.51% of all Internet traffic, with Wednesday visits accounting for only 13.44%. Coming in second was Friday with 15.36% of visits. The breakdown of surfer traffic by the day of the week for Jan. 30 - Feb. 5 looks like this:
